From Snow to Rain

Above, a photo of Kuan Yin in our studio.

We've gone from snow to rain. From zero degrees to 47 degrees in a couple of days.

We are getting the rest we need after our art show opening on Thursday.

Rather incredible to get up at 8:30 or even 9am, of course still going to sleep

rather late-ish.


We have some new ideas with our creativity, including more audio/video on our site.

We'll have CD's up for sale as well as new prints. Stay tuned.

Bliss

Ah, completed a painting yesterday, and getting ready to paint again today.
It feels SO good to feel the painting move through your fingers as it
unfolds itself.

Continuing

We and continuing on the studio work, still more to do, an on-going process that allows us to integrate the physicality and the energy of the studio and the rhythm of our creative work. We continue to continue.

At the Studio

What's happening today is straightening the studio, organizing, putting things away, and making lists of what we

want to get accomplished between now and our art show in December.

It's not that far away, and there's plenty to do, work to be completed, started, and in-between.

Morning Glory

On our Google and Yahoo calendars there is a reminder, each Wednesday to put out the flag at 11am
and take down the flag at 3mp, for the studio/gallery.

That's all changed now. The Morning Glories have grown onto the flag pole and woven
themselves into the corners of the flag. They will live there as long as they are able.

Our flag may become less and less visible, and we may disappear behind a veil of morning glory leaves.
We are better gardeners and artists than advertising business persons.

We are open today from 11-3pm.

What to do on a Saturday.

How about re-building a small side porch. Yup.
How about going for a walk by the sea. Yup.
How about stopping in at the cafe/bookstore. Yup

Three yups and its a go.

Gots To Move

Got to get out and move around a bit.

Sometimes you got to get out of the studio and move around,
shake out your limbs and get a deep breath of sea air.

Time to go to the boardwalk and walk.

It Has Been A Day

It has been a very interior day for both of us.

We worked on our new book, "The Coming of the Fairies".
Most of the text was done yesterday, we'll need to add a few
more pages tomorrow, and we placed all the photography,
with a few changes to it tomorrow, as well. All in all it feels
good to having gotten this far.

For it being such an interior day, we had a pleasant surprise visit
from our friend and fantastic puppeteer, Hobey Ford.
We both get so inspired by each other, that we're always wishing
the visits could last longer.

We are hard at work on this book of ours, and hope to have it
published by next week.

Still, the painting calls and hopefully tomorrow we'll be able to
paint a bit.

Time To Paint

It's time to paint that "cute" "shabby chique" little table

of ours. It'll be the same color as the two bookcases
on either side of the entry door.

On a day like today, it's a good thing to do.
